We got our first couple of snowflakes on Black Friday. I was on my way out the door to go shopping and was stopped dead in my tracks by the snowflakes. So, I ran back inside and grabbed my camera. We still had some leaves on the hedges. The perfect mix of winter and fall.
My sister and I took our kids to see Wildlights at the Columbus Zoo. The lights were amazing! There is a synchronized light show where the lights around the lake are synchronized to Christmas music. We were getting ready to leave the zoo at closing time when the final show of the evening started, so we stopped and watched. I really love how the lights reflected off the water.
He looks like such a little man in this picture. My husband makes fun of me for dressing him like a dork, but I think he's adorable and that's all that matters, right? He always looks so serious, even when he's playing in the leaves and trying to climb the slide.
I'm glad we got out yesterday; it'll probably be the last nice day before winter really hits. I miss the beach already.
When she was little, my daughter always had a dimple in each cheek. They were especially prominant when she giggled and laughed. Now she is three going on 13 and thinks that she doesn't have to smile or laugh and that pouting and sulking is the only way to go.
We went out in the back yard today and I took pictures of her and her brother. She wasn't smiling, but I caught the dimple.
I just got this lens on Halloween and I haven't really used it a whole lot. I don't know a whole lot about photography...yet...but I can definitely see the negatives of this lens that the reviews talked about.
